Standard bar height is 42" inches. Minimum 40, and not over 43".

What height bar stools for standard bar height tables?

29-30" seat height is appropriate for bars 40-43" in height.

If a barstool has a padded seat, in theory, it adds 1-2" to the seat height, until you sit on it.

What height is counter height?

Counter height is generally 36" tall.

What height bar stools for counter height?

24-26" seat height is appropriate for counter height applications.
